With only 90 minutes to spare and a mission of creating cute characters, this is what I came up with. Earlier this year I was contracted by Illumina Studios to create Illustrations for the Berkeley Lab open house. If you are unfamiliar, they are doing some amazing work with biofuel. My images were used to create large banners and an interactive educational game demo for both parents and children to learn about their exciting process at the event. The character depicted below, known as a Bioscriber, takes you on an adventure to the hunt for the correct mushrooms needed to produce the most efficient fuel.
Though I have had a couple blogs over the years, in the interest of simplifying and keeping all things in one place, this is where all future artwork and updates will be posted. To view my old blog click here.
To start things off, here are a few images I created at the Animation Collaborative. I had the pleasure of taking Advanced Character Design with the amazingly talented Chris Sasaki. If you are interested in animated film, I highly recommend this school! |
Seth HendersonGrowing up, I was inspired by the Sunday Comics. As a child, I remember cutting Calvin and Hobbes strips out of the newspaper and putting them into a photo album! Archives
